The new Audi TT 2.0 TDI ultra wins DieselCar’s ‘Best Sportscar’ Award in 2015. Priced from £29,810, the diesel TT is available in Sport or S Line trim. The award winning engine is also available to order now for the TT Roadster, priced from £31,995 OTR.
In Coupé guise, the TDI ultra boasts 184 hp and 280 lb ft of peak torque between 1,750 – 3,250 rpm. As a result, the in-gear performance is more or less on par with its TFSI equivalent. The motor provides the ability to fire the TT from rest to 62 mph in 7.1 seconds, while the providing the potential to hit 62 mpg.
The new Audi Virtual Cockpit, a standard fitment to all TT models, features a 12.3-inch TFT screen, displaying crystal clear graphics and infotainment menus in full-screen. A navigation system is an optional extra, as part of the Technology Package – also equipping the car with Audi Connect 4G Internet services.
